I want to draw a rectangular box around the text. Creating a rectangle around the text makes the rectangle a part of the drawing ( which is incorrect ). Is there a way to do that?

Spent the majority of my time on this video trying to create the shapes he made to show how to use various tools haha.
Great video…but none of my text stuff is working like in the video. After I type, make adjustments to the text and the box, then click out of the box, the only thing that remains is a flat line that, when I expand using the arrows, is the mask area color. All of the text disappears. Also, text distribution before l close the box only shows in the left. Center and right the text goes blank. The typing area is also just a single line long box that runs off the right of the page. I've googled it and the only thing I see is to check to make sure annoallvisable is on and it makes no difference. I also zoom in to see if the text was just too small to see and all it does is zoom into the text box and no text. Any ideas?
Hey Bai, I have watched a few of your videos now, and I must say. You are among the best of all the tutorials.
A. You actually talk, and stay on point without having "Squirrel brain" thoughts aloud.
B. You talk at an appropriate rate of speed and CLEARLY!!!
C. You show examples and go over everything you did. I didn't have to watch it multiple times to see one thing!
