You can also use command Zoom, real time, and then use your mouse wheel to take to where you want. Just try it although Regen should do the job. It will also depend on you machine a little bit.

I am using AutoCAD 2013 to design a plane I seem to be stumped. I want a short, complex object to be made longer but not wider, so in other words I want to stretch it kind of like how you can stretch a picture horizontally in Microsoft Word. I want all of the parts within to stay proportional to the original but I can't figure out how. Please help. Thank you in advance.

Hi
Your workspace is actually infinite. so you can scroll with your mouse to zoom in or out. If you cannot zoom out it sure needs regeneration. So if that's the case type command "regen" and it will allow you to zoom normally. Still I'm not sure what your question is about, so reply to know if this is what you need.

hi, how can you make your work space wide ?,
You are very welcome, just enjoy the rest of the series and best regards.
Thanks for the help with my homework.
Hello,
That is coming in about 2-3 weeks, we will start now a real house project and of course printing is a part of that. Stay tuned because the next 2 will give you the basics before been able to print.
Thanks for posting and best regards
Great work. How about some tutroials for setting up sheets to print? Still some basic 2D AutoCad tasks I'd like to learn before heading into 3D….for example, importing a a drawing. How do I organize it onto a 2' by 3' sheet of paper for print, while making certain parts of the drawing bigger or smaller scales?
Hi there,
If you refer to the multiline option yes, just use the PLINE command.
