hey i really like your video and style of moderating 🙂 Im also really interested in the black kimono you are wearing. Do you have a link for me where i can buy it ?
Buying a kimono now
What’s the product number of the first one? I can’t find it anywhere online!
着物
WAIT WAIT WAIT are these the rebook x cottweiler in the back?!
There is already a noun for what's voluminous – "volume."
I also would like a noragi in yellow. It can be color gold ( I'm not talking shiny or metallic looking) or mustard. A nice casual but bold color.
Last summer in Dallas I saw a person wearing Japanese cloths. After that every once in a wile I see people dress in this fashion. I want to start doing the same but the $80 to $300 price points is too much.
Do you have tips on styling haori for a more casual look? The only western clothes i can pair are usually formal.
“Japan is old” That’s why they have a high population and great schooling, respect for others, mostly a healthy country, and they also have a low crime rate. (My argument makes no sense so just ignore it all together and appreciate how awesome Japan is)
I saw this and I see hope. Thank God nobody here but the haters are falling for the 'cultural appropriation' bullshit.
your japanese is on point bro makes for a HIGH QUALITY VIDEO subscribed
Nujabes and kimonos!:))
Noticed your denim decor, who made that?
I bought two of these since I dont even have to change t shirts. I could just grab this and drape it over whatever I was wearing at the time, change to a cargo pants, and be on my way. These kimono coats are the best because it'll go any old tshirt you have depending on the color. I don't have much clothes but these kimono coats have pretty much turned all of my t shirts into streetwear. They're not expensive (I got two for $20 from an off brand!) and they're very comfy!
They're great for non fashionable folks like me!
“These are clothes bruh” 😭
If I wear a large in western clothing, what size kimono should I get?
I would wear it but I don’t wanna look racist
Love this style and was curious how to put an outfit together this helped a bit.
I saw a kimono on the life of ronin ig page. But how do they fit and the sizing
does kim kardashian watch this channel
I got one with a black one with a big print on the back and wear it over a white hoodie, it looks great!
Thar is no kimono matey
Its suppose to be oversize a bit, but i dont think it feels and drop as good to his body. Wrong size for him.
Love ur page 💯
what noragi is he wearing the black one?
Do you guys now some cheap places to buy noragis from? I'm thinking about 60-100$.
Glad I found this channel. I love kimono and own several traditional kimono and yukata. I hardly ever wear them. What I really love are dochugi (short jackets that cross over in front like kimono) and machiyuki (long coats that have a low, square neckline.) I think they are acceptable as is but they are also easy to modify. Why pay big bucks for a silk shirt when you can have a top that is truly awesome? You can fold down the points on either side of the neckline of a michiyuki and easily create lapels with just a couple hidden stitches. The sleeves are easy to shorten and you don't even have to cut off the excess fabric. Just hide it in the sleeve.
Funeral mofuku (all black) is not a problem either. Mofuku is an all black garment. Just take something mofuku and embellish it in a lighter contrasting color. Embroidery, patches, paint, even iron-ons (if the fabric can take the heat) are ways to de-mofuku something. I've seem someone take a mofuku kimono and turn it into a glamorous evening gown using fancy beadwork. It was stunning. She absolutely did not look like she was going to a funeral.
Keep spreading the word about upstyling traditional Japanese clothing. Now if you could get guys to wear modern hakama pants I think that would be cool.
One year late …but dope video🚀
As a Japanese-American, I just wanted to say I appreciate the fact that you have clearly done your research. I loved your insights and spin on the noragi streetwear fashion. It gave me so many ideas and is exactly the kimono piece I was looking to fit into a modern wardrobe. Thank you!
Not hating. But what’s with the distant gaze and frown. Just smile. Fashion isn’t a serious endeavour IMO
Man I have been trying to find someone online stores but can't find anything that sell things like these
What some good stories for this
Breaths in weeabo

Hi Reggie, I'm in Kyoto now and am heading to Osaka. I have been looking but I have been having trouble finding noragi (or noragi-like), similar to what you are showing here. I'm thinking United Arrows is not a budget friendly option… I checked out Harajuku Chicago in Kyoto and found a few vintage dogis (used for kendo) that were sweet but felt a bit too heavy. Where else can I look? Any ideas?
looks like yukata
Wore one and ppl asked me if I just came out of Karate class.
Bro, im looking yukatas buy 5xl can you help???
whooooaaaa bro THIS IS MY STYLE
