Note: if operating system in some other dive, other than c: drive, use that particular drive instead of c: drive

Well lovely, I did the first step and now it's an endless cycle of it telling me it needs to restart, going black for a couple of minutes, telling me it needs to restart. There's no longer a menu page that pops up to let me go to the command prompt! Heeelp

Restore points are no longer there. The computer must have erased them when it crashed after I plugged in a new USB device. Also have another computer that crashes after it gets to the configure.sys. How do you fix that one since I can't get to the repair console?
